I was a group leader of 96 people who just returned from 14 nights on Millennium. This as my 18th cruise so believe me when I say that Millennium is the perfect ship. She's very large but has only 1950 guests onboard.. no long lines anywhere! The ship was beautiful and had everything you'd expect from a premium cruise line. I am waiting for information about Summit and expect to have a large group sailing on her in 2001. I recommend Millennium to anyone who likes cruises.
Thanks for the glowing report. My wife and I leave tommorow for the Millennium's last Baltic Sea run this summer and we are looking forward to a great experience.
Celebrity has been good for us so far.....Panama Canal in 1999 and Bermuda in 1997.
I have to agree wholeheartedly with Cliff! Showers that are large and
consistent, a staff that is happy to serve you a 5 course meal in your room anytime, free shuttles into the center of towns, and the most wonderful hydrospa pool at no additional cost! Additionally, the Baltic itinerary is wonderful, I will always remember this cruise as one of my top cruising experiences!
I had the extreme pleasure of being on the July 29th cruise; my dear friend is leaving tomorrow for the last Baltic itinerary and I wish I was going, again.I agree completely with Mr. Meyers...I have cruised fo 15 years...this was the best. I've been following this board for 7 weeks and am amazed at the negatives about the ship and the cruise line. For all of you concerned about the VIBRATION...it was one of the smoothest sailings I have had, even in 35kt. winds we had several nights. For those of you that are concerned about the food...weigh yourself on return...I'm sure you will have gained some! The ship is beautiful, the staff is pleasent, just enjoy!!
