I am sure that somewhere on the old boards I could have found this answer......but I would trade that for the new boards anyday.... My question today is which airline seems to offer the best deal to Amsterdam and/or Genoa...... Thanks to anyone who can help...... Dawn

RE: Airlines

Well we are booked out of Boston on Northwest/KLM to Amsterdam with the return on Alitalia (NW partner) out of Genoa. Both direct non-stop flights. We did book through the cruise line, but I have monitored these flight costs since last November and they have only increased from approximately $750 to over $880 per person. When we requested a deviation (day of departure), Celebrity only charged $100 ($50 each) and we received the above flights (we did this less that 60 days before sailing too. All other flights out of this international hub, were with changes in other states (going West to land in the East) or changing planes in other European capitals.

Bon Voyage

Not necessarily the cheapest, but if you want the best air travel experience available, take Singapore Airlines Newark-Amsterdam nonstop flight. Readers of many travel magazines consistently rank them #1. Impeccable service, baggage handling, and on-time performance is what keeps them way above the rest.
