alcohol perchases on board

can you buy alcohol on board and take it to your cabin... know that some cruise lines allow this but can't remember the policy on celebrity... thanks for your response!!!!!!!!!

We were on the Millenium for the Baltic/Russia cruise in August/Sept. There is a liquor store on the ship, available to purchase and consume. Problem was, they sold out all stock of Vodka like in the first three days, so we did not actually purchase from the store.

They should have carried more vodka on a russian trip lol
we ran out of beer 3 nights out on a german charter on the QEII when I worked on her, we had to re-stock with twice as much as we had planned.
If Celebrity is the same as her parent RCL they are very lenient and will actually leave ice in your room.

Don't worry about the spelling Sea Lady. We knew what you were saying and that's all that counts.

have just completed Mercury Panama cruise on15 oct. NO you cannot purchase from duty free shop to take to your cabin until last day of cruise. Take on board with your luggage and you will be ok.

Leaving in a week for the Millenium transAtlantic..we always "sneak" a little on-board and have never had a problem on several lines.

Any more comments about purchase and consume on-board the Millenium...save the luggage space for more inportant things. We enjoy a nitecap in the cabin and room service takes so long.
