Default Vibrations on the Millie..

We will be on the Sept. 30 Millennium
cruise, from Barcelona to Ft.Lauderdale.
Our cabins are on the Panorama deck in
the front of the ship. If their is anyone who had their cabins in that area, how were the vibrations felt?

Has anyone heard any official responce
from Celebrity Cruise Lines regarding
the vibration problem? I tried to e-mail
them, but can't find their e-mail address. Does anyone know their e-mail
address? I would like to know what
Celebrity has to say about the problem.

Thanks, Soon to be Cruising..

You will not feel it at all in front of the ship. It is usually only felt all the aft and usually when going in and out of port. Enjoy!!!

The vibrations occur in the stern and sometimes can be felt in the main dining room (it is at the stern). You should have no virbration problem at the bow. We were on the Penthouse deck (6) in 6024, and it was the smoothest sailing I have ever experienced accept for one "side to side toss/turn" during a severe rain storm that actually closed the port of Livorno. Water glasses and other glasses went flying on the floor during the middle of the night, but no breakage. An acquaintance was right up in the bow overlooking the helipad, and during this rough sea episode was the only time that the cabin position was a little hard to live with. She came down the hall to our cabin to visit. I am sure you will enjoy your cruise on the Millennium.
Bon Voyage

We were upfront on the Vista deck on 12/17 cruise and while we didn't feel the vibrations that were apparent in the stern we did feel a lot of movement due to high speed and choppy seas that wasn't apparent mid ship. The main reason to have a mid ship cabin.

The worst stern vibrations were at high speed after an unscheduled port stop. They were VERY apparent in the dining room.

Do you remember back when everyone complained about the vibrations of this great class of ships? This message is from many years ago, one of the oldest on this board. I remember when these shisp were just comming out, and now Millennium is already almost 3 years old.
