Royal Suite on the Galaxy

I just booked a southern caribbean cruise on the Galaxy. This will be my first cruise with Celebrity. Having sailed with RCCL and NCL in the past, I am looking forward to the "Celebrity Experience". I would like to hear from anyone who has stayed in the Royal Suite on this ship, is it worth the extra money? Any details will be greatly appreciated. November seems so far away Steve S.

Although I've never stayed in a Royal Suite, I have visited one several times. I have, however, stayed in a Cat. 1 suite and feel that is the better bargain. The Royal Suites are wonderful rooms, but unless you plan to do some entertaining in your stateroom, I think it's quite a bit of wasted space (and money). In the Cat. 1 suite you still get the butler, tea, hors d'oeuvres, etc. Will it be just the two of you traveling, or are you with a group?

Thanks for the response, there will be three adults staying in the cabin and we do plan on entertaining. In past Caribbean cruises, the ports were always the destination. This time we plan on spending more time on the ship.
