APRIL HAWAII ON INFINITY

A Travel Agency in my area who runs weekly ads in the San Francisco Chronicle is today advertising both the April 7 & 18 Hawaii sailings of Infinity.

I know there has been much confusion regarding these sailings. According to other posters, calls to Celebrity regarding these cruises are getting responses of "closed", etc. Also, Celebrity's on line booking system responds back with "sailing unavailable." It's no wonder these types of responses combined with the rumors of Infinity have made folks uncomfortable.

I have always believed that these particular Hawaii sailings haven't been available through "normal" channels because the majority of inventory is being held by large volume TA's holding group blocks of space.

It's difficult for me to believe the TA would again spend $$$ advertising these sailings if he/she had the slightest question the ship would even be sailing. Yes, stranger things have happened, but that's the way I see it, anyway!

April 7, 2001 cruise to Hawaii is a go. Possible, cruise is a sell out as of now, but when final monies are due by middle of February , I'm sure there will be cancellations.
