Anybody sail in the rear mini-suites on Century? How bad is the vibration? Does Century seem over-crowded during President's Week in Feb? Does Century have basketball? Have heard the Sony playstations kept breaking down. Was this true? We're thinking of Century Western Carib. for Feb. 2002, and want to be sure we make a smart choice. Thanks for your thoughts.
My daughter and son-inlaw Went on that cruise last May for thier honeymoon. They had no complaints, although they were in an inside cabin. The video that they took, showed a beautiful ship, and they had no vibration problem. You simply must do the sting ray excursion, it looked like an experience you will never forget! try to get the earliest one, so they won't be full yet. hope this helps, happy sailing!
We just got home from the Century. The ship is wonderful, the food an A+ and the staff very nice. We had a room on the 8th floor, outside room with large window and foward on the ship. It was perfect! I didn't go to any of the game rooms so I'm no help there. We did book to go on the sting ray swim but it was cancelled due to the ship arriving to late.
Have a wonderful time!
Read your post on the rear mini suite and have the same questions. I recall reading
that the veranda was exposed to parts of the Lido deck, also there was some noise
from chairs being draged on the deck in the earley morning.None of which I can
confirm. We are thinking of a May,2002 cruise. We have sailed on the Century twice
but not in a mini suite. We are thinking of a May,2002 cruise.Century is a great
ship,Ihope that someone can come up with better information.
