Hi! After reading all the posts recommending the Pink Bus, this is the way we are going on our Bermuda vacation Sept 1. Does the ship (Zenith) sell the bus tickets on board? I did not see this option on their shore excursion website. How much for a 3 day pass?? Thanks
The ships used to sell the bus passes, however, we always bought ours off the ship either at the bus terminal in Hamilton or if docked at the Naval Dockyard from a stand at the bus stop. The passes are also good for the ferry. A 3-day pass cost us $23.00 per person last year, and you can go anywhere on the island with the pass. Bermuda's public transportation is excellent! We just visited Bermuda for 2 days in April on a repo cruise aboard the Horizon, and we are returning in October aboard the Zenith. Bermuda is wonderful. You will love the ship also.
The three day bus pass is definitely the way to go. You feel like you are on a shore excursion when you are only on public transportation. The bus drivers are very helpful if you tell them where you are going. Actually we found all the people in Bermuda to be very helpful and friendly. We bought our passes just off the ship in the St Georges visitor center. You will have no problem finding a place to purchase the bus passes.
