It says on the page you are referring to...'Celebrity Cruises, Inc. reserves the right to increase its prices without prior notice. However, if you have confirmed your booking with a deposit, or if you have already made your final payment, your price will be protected.'
It states on page 69 of my Celebrity Cruises brochure for the Summit for 2001-2002 sailings that staterooms on Celebrity Summit include (among other things)
COMPLIMENTARY USE OF THALASSOTHERAPY POOL. It also states this on page 63 for the Millennium and page 51 for the Infinity. Furthermore, the cruiseline sent me a special Captain's Club brochure for the Summit which states the same thing on page 22. Since this amenity is included in the price of my cruise that I booked in January 2001 for January 2002, it seems that to now charge me another $15 or $20 per person per day ($300 or $400 extra on my 10-night cruise), they are not PROTECTING MY PRICE! That is what the "brouhaha" is about!!
