Was reading about food/meals on the Chit Chat board....made me wonder.......
what is your favorite dish on Celebrity? So far mine is the Chocolate Mousse from the Olympic Dining Room. It was fabulous!!!! Their Celebrity Salad Dressing is also terrific.

I had a great zabaglione for dessert in the SS United States when we cruised Alaska earlier this month. It was prepared at tableside, and I almost began to fear for the poor man's wrist as he whisked it for what seemed like 10 minutes nonstop.
The results were worth it, though --- it was by far the lightest & airiest zabaglione I ever tasted.
The Chocolate Capuccino Mousse! I've been lusting after it (yes, that's how good it is!) since I booked my October Hawaii cruise back in March. I plan to order about 6 of them (just kidding, only 3....haha).
The goat cheese souffle in the Olympic is wonderful. The Escargot in the regular dinning room is also the best. As a matter of fact, most of the food is pretty darn good, it is hard to choose. On thing that I am a little tired of is the baked Alaska, how much neopolican (sp. explained because I don't even like it much) ice cream can we eat.
I would vote for the Roasted Tomato Soup. Unfortunately I ordered a different soup that night but my friends let me taste theirs and boy was I jealous!!! I just hope they serve it on the Summit next January. I might have voted for the Chocolate Souffle in the Olympic, but as was mentioned, the meal was too huge and I was too stuffed to enjoy the little bit that I did eat.
Oh yeah....the sherbets were wonderful too. Especially the passion fruit (I hope I'm remembering the flavor)
Count me in with those that voted for the Pastry Cigar. Also, I just love the Cream Caroline soup (usually served on 1st formal night). My friends tell me that it's just a corn chowder (which it is!) but I could skip the entree entirely and eat a few bowls of that with some breadsticks (also wonderful) and be a happy camper.
HAS to be the bread sticks in the main dining room. Our table ordered extras each night! I also had a very nice Turkey dinner on the Millennium. Everything else was good of course. These just stood out in my mind.
Unlike the other Carole here, I loathe the swan thingees. But I'm diabetic so I'd rather eat the other things, beef, lamb, soup, goat cheese souffle. Since I haven't sailed Celebrity in several years I'll need to start this thread again after we sail Summit in Alaska next year. I always loved the food onboard though.
Have to agree with LovetheSea- those breadsticks are the best. My only food on the buffets after later seating. As a matter of fact, any bread on Celebrity is great.
The breads on the Millennium gala buffet were so good. Yum, only 86 days till Century...and bread sticks.
I love my green salads, too but I try to watch the calories. I believe their Catalina or Calypso dressing is pretty tasty. I don't recall any others as I usually steer away from the cream based dressings and go with the oil/vinagrette types. Of course there is always good ole Oil & Vinegar!
