Default West Coast Cruises

Hello everyone,
Got an idea. Florida has an abundance of cruises, but on the West Coast not much at all, Mexican Riv and Baja. Once in awhile Hawaii.
So let us put our heads together and come up with an itinerary for the West Coastal cruises. More than a reposition.

How about we start with this?
San Diego, Los Angelus, San Francisco, Columbia River, Portland, Seattle, Victoria and Vancouver, of course with sea time inbetween.

Anyone else to add ... subtract? Extend for more days what ever you like. It is your itinerary.

Yes what you have discribed is a repositioning and only available in May and September. We are about to go on our 3rd in 3 years. The Infinity, Sept 21, no Seattle or Portland but every other port you mentioned.
We have seen another cruise that had Monterey as a port, but really can't figure out how the tendering works. How about Santa Barbara, also??
The longer the better...

I would love to see a cruise line do 7-day sailings along the West Coast from Spring to Fall.

How about Round Trip from San Francisco, with port stops in Ensenada, San Diego and Santa Barbara? Of course, the Ensenada stop would be necessary to comply with the Passenger Services Act.

Silversea offered a short 2-day "sampler" cruise out of LA a few years ago, with a port stop in Santa Barbara, so apparently it can be done!

Another great cruise would be SF-Portland-Seattle-Vancouver or Victoria returning to SF.

Whatever the itinerary, I agree we need more ships on the West Coast. The Star Princess will be a welcome addition in 2002. Now how about a Celebrity ship!

Royal Caribbean and Princess have some 2, 3 and 4 night cruises in the Spring and Fall from Seattle and Vancouver. I would like Celebrity to do a few of these also. We went on the Radiance of the Seas in May and are booked on the Sea Princess out of Vancouver in Sept.for a three night. Good chance to check out the ships! We are from the Seattle area.
