We will be on the Zenith the first week in Sept. Have read on this board that there is not much doing on the ship evenings while in port. Any recommendations on shore activities - any good night clubs, or other evening shore activities? We will be playing golf with early tee times 2 days, but, what about the other evenings??
We plan to eat dinner (early seating) on the ship. Any ideas? We are mid 40's and mid 50's.
The Clayhouse is a treat. Local color. It's in Devonshire. Easy to get top by bus from Hamilton. Take a cab back. It's too late for the bus. The ship sells an excursion there from St. George. It's further away, costs lots more than if you do it on your own. Did it ourselves and had no trouble. Also, buy the 3 day bus and ferry pass. It';s a real deal. Enjoy!
We are sailing to Bermuda on the Zenith in October. I've looked at this excursion and it sounds great. However, I do have some questions--are cabs readily available at the Clayhouse after the show or do you have to walk to a cab stand? How far from Hamilton is the Clayhouse? We've been to Bermuda six times but never visited the Clayhouse (don't know why) but plan on doing it this time around. Would you recommend going when the ship is docked in Hamilton?
