After receiving our paper work for our upcoming trip, we found out that 5 of the
6 of us traveling together, will be forced to stay in San Juan two hours longer than
the rest of us flying out...after calling the air department, they informed us
that they could get our friend on the same flight as the rest of our party for a
additional $85.00...I think this is crazy...they manged to get us all down to SanJuan at the same time...and with the recent events, our friend doesn't feel
comfortable staying 2 hours by herself....so we are looking to talk to the
president of Celebrity about this issue...would really apprecitate your help, if you
have this information..Name, address, phone numbers, e-mail address..whatever!
Celebrity's President is Rick Sasso. However, I fear there is little the President of the company can do in a case such as this. Air/Sea departments are basically at the mercy of the airlines and all of the cruise lines make it very clear that they can never guarantee that they will be able to book all parties traveling together on the same flights.
If you must all travel together and must have the same flights, this is why Celebrity and other lines all offer a premium air desk which can accomodate specific flight requests. They do charge for these services.
I'd suggest paying the $85, it's a small price for piece of mind and convenience.
Nanatraval..no I didn't..they didn't want to discuss personal cruise questions
or concerns...just general information...which was ok...it was very informative..
as for Lynn the name of the Customer services was Keesler. I didn't get
to talk to him directly...I talked to one of his staff.
