Default Help with deck choice on Infinity

We need some help with choosing decks on Infinity. Choices are Penthouse, Panorama and Sky. All equal pricing so that is not a factor and I'm really not concerned how midships we are. Just have some comcerns about being the top deck under the pool deck or being the first deck above the lifeboats as I understand that one can not see down from there at all from a balcony. Any help from someone that has been in these cabins would be great.

If you book midship you look down on life boats and the promenade deck. I would not book the sky deck as the 15 foot overhang is quite annoying with the support beams and cleaning ladder. Try getting the Vista deck cabins: 7171,7173-7178,7180 - they have larger balconies and don't look at life boats.

I picked an aft cabin on the Panarama Deck -- that way I am between two other passenger decks and have the advantage of a HUGE balcony!

I would stay away from the deck that has the pool, I think it is called the Penthouse Deck. I stayed on the Penthouse Deck on the Century and I found that the rooms and hallway were very warm compared to other floors. Other than that it was great!

Susan, I understand your comments re "fore or aft", but if your cruise will include
either the Atlantic or Pacific, there is no doubt that mid-ship and mid-decks are
the most stable. Otherwise I would always select a deck between two passenger
decks--more quiet above and below you. I would also watch "connected" cabins
if you have any concern for smoke or noisy neighbors.

Having cruised the Infinity, I would choose a Cat 1 Balcony in the stern--great size balconies!!! Happy cruising!!!
