Got word from our TA, Ginny, that the GREAT deal on Sky Suites she has on the Summit for our Hawaii CruiseMates Cruise has been VERY popular, and she's only got 3 of them left!!
$1849 including tax and port ($150 less than Celeb is offering them on their web site) for a Sky Suite for 11 nights, with your own bulter, on Celebrity's newest ship.... and with Pamda, me and the CruiseMates gang. Don't wait any longer to join the "Let's Get Lei'd Cruise"!!!!
Ginny also tells me the cheap air Celebrity is offering on Cat 1s, 2s, and 12s, has now been extended to Cat 8s as well. Air from $99 to $299 from MANY US cities!
The GREAT thing is Ginny is monitoring all the rates regularily, so if you book now and the rates comes down in other categories as well, you'll get the discounts!!!!
Come join the antlered crowd for great beaches, great golf and great fun in Hawaii... and ending with 5 wonderful sea days to Vancouver, sipping Creamscicles and BBCs.
Here's a link to all the details...
I can't believe I'm posting about yet another rate reduction for the CruiseMates "Let's Get Lei'd" already, but it's amazing!!!
Our TA now has Category 6, OUTSIDE cabins available for $899/person including prt and tax. AND discounted air is available for this category (from $99-$299).
This is for 11 nights, Honolulu to Vancouver!!! I can't believe even east coasters can get an 11 night Hawaii cruise for under $1200 INCLUDING AIR in an OUTSIDE cabin on a new ship like Celebrity's Summit!!!!
U can't afford not to join us ( I HOPE :0)
Kuki, just got an email from Celebrity with the following info regarding and additional $200 off using a coupon, new bookings only, available via a link on the web. It reads, in part:
To receive your $200* per stateroom savings, book by January 15, 2002 on select Infinity or Summit itineraries departing May 3 through May 20, 2002. Simply print out your savings certificate. Then present it to your local travel agent when making your reservation.
Seem like real deal to travel with you and Mrs. Kuki! It's the golf part that is swaying Bud! Any idea how much golf will happen on this trip??? We will just be getting off the Summit in April so we will have the ship all broken in by then!

We'd LOVE to cruise with U and Bud again!!! Tell Bud I'm still a lousy golfer, but much better than last time. I actually play some now.
There will be LOTS of optional golf games. I expect Bud would be able to play 4 games minimum (more if u come to Honolulu a day or two earlu))
We'll set them up in advance on every island, as well as a couple in or around Honolulu for those coming in early. I've got a friend from here who is a golf writer for our local newspaper. He informed me today he's going to join us, and will take charge of setting up some fun "games" and calloways to entertain the golfers in the crowd.
Hope u guys decide to join us.. at these prices.. U'd be silly not to!!!

Yes for sure there will be some.. and besides we don't ask for proof of age as long as you look old enough to drink .. lol
We'll have a wide cross section of ages, and no one should let age be of any concern. We're all cruise aholics! Do JOIN US!
When you golf on cruises, do you bring your own clubs or rent them? Chuck and I have only rented clubs before in order to avoid the extra baggage and weight-- all those extra golf balls waiting to replace the lost ones can be a load. We'd love to get tee times when we have enough time for it. Just choose courses that have tailwinds and no crosswinds. Much better for the ego!

I've done both. If I know I'm going to be playing alot of golf, I drag the clubs and accessories along. A few weeks ago, we were on the Triumph, and decided at the last minute to golf in Jamaica, so we just rented from the ship. The only problem was their clubs were better quality than mine<G> But, that didn't help my game anyway.
When I have dragged along the equiptment the cabin steward stored the bag away, outside the cabin, until I wanted it.
Gar.. You have to give me as many strokes as it takes me to get the ball into the hole <G>
I'm definately a "duffer". I do have one golf motto.. If u can't play like a professional then look like one. This allows me to be very impressive looking.. before I tee off..
