Default Irons

Does the ship Millennium have irons in the rooms or on the ship?

HI, Ken ...

One word ... NO.

But they do have an excellent laundry. You can send wrinkled items to be pressed without laundering.

If you pack your clothes encased in plastic dry cleaners bags, the chances of wrinkles are almost zero.

I haven't done it yet, but I keep thinking about bringing my husband's "tux" shirt dirty and just sending it to the laundry.

Last cruise, I did bring some cotton clothes clean, but not pressed. Sent 'em out for pressing. No pressure there !!!

I iron everything before we pack, but often pack days before we go. Those plastic dry cleaner bags definetly help. I brought a travel steamer and only used it once on the first night's outfit which was rayon. Hang everything as soon as you can unpack. The wrinkle spray is supposed to be good too, but I have yet to have to use it.
Bon Voyage

Tried the dry cleaner's bags on my last cruise and they DID work! The few stubborn wrinkles that remained were hung in the bathroom while showering.

Brought a travel iron on our cruise and used it twice, even after packing our clothes in laundry bags. I ironed, unplugged the iron, and did not store it until it was cool to the touch...very easy to do.

This is one of those topics to go on forever fire hazard or not, I say bring the iron and use it safely. Irons are no more a fire hazard than smoking in bed.Jan wrote:
