Mercury workout facilities
My husband and I will be sailing in March on the Mercury and I'm interested in finding out more info regarding the workout facilities. All of the promotion material from Celebrity is pretty brief on this subject, and one review I read said that the facilities are inadequate for the number of people on the ship.

I'd also like to know if there are aerobic, yoga, or other classes offered.

Re: Mercury workout facilities
When I sailed Mercury the ship wasn't full and I found the gym and its equipment more than adequate. They have all sorts of machines both aerobic and strength training. They have lots of free weights and benches. They offered really high end step aerobics. I stuck with the machines. It wore me out just looking at the step aerobics class. The gym is on the top of the ship with great sea views and right next door to the AquaSpa so you can work out the kinks when you finish exercising.

Re: Mercury workout facilities
I think it depends on when you travel. If it's a school vacation with lots of young parents--you can't can't near the machines--other times not a big problem but You do have to sign up early to get a spot! We usually just walked around the decks--plenty of open space....

Hi: You mentioned aqua spa. I shall be using the gym, equipment etc. which is gratis BUT what is the cost of the aqua spa? I am thinking the only indoor jacuzzi is optiona extra cost as part of the aqua spa, is that correct? They do have one indoor or covered poolusable as we head into cold climates of southern south america?
