Default Cabin Assignment

Hi everyone,
My husband and I are going on the Feb 15 Summit cruise. This is our first cruise and we are really excited. Our TA just gave us our Cabin, we will be in 7014 which is a Cat 1 deluxe with a veranda. Does anyone know anything about this room, or this type of cabin on any ship, or know if this is a good place to be? It is on the Vista deck. Just curious, any comments or suggestions would be helpful, Thanks alot Marissa

The Summit itself is a good place to be. The cabin is fine. You'll be spoiled. Have a nice time.

According to the deck plan, 7014 is a Category 2B, not 1. But it does have a balcony, and you'll find it to be a wonderful room. However, if you've paid for a category 1, you might want to look into why you're in a 2B.

Marissa

You can go to travelocity.com and see your exact cabin! My wife and I are heading to Hawaii on the Summit and can't wait! Hope this helps and have a great cruise

Hi, Marissa ...

You should have a great cruise and you will LOVE that balcony.

You might want to cruise over to the First-Time Cruisers area under "PEOPLE" ... there are a lot of articles there that might be of help.

Keep asking questions, we'll keep answering them.

Marissa,
We were in cabin 7076 this morning (but home now). We found Vista Deck to be just right to go up or down to swim or eat or whatever.

P. S. Be sure to check out the pasta bar and "special buffet" with the daily special. They're at the fantail.
