Maui Luau - 5/13/02 Summit

I was just scanning a number of message boards on other sites and everybody seemed to have a favorable thing to say about the Old Lahaina Luau (www.oldlahainaluau.com). Just wondering if anyone else has a comment on this. And if it sounds good to all, maybe we can get Kuki or Ginny to get us a group rate with them. Just a thought...

I think Kuki has already gotten a group rate for the Maui Luau or is in the process of doing so. ALOHA!

I have been to the OLL....everyone is correct, it is the BEST.....it would be a great choice. It sells out fast. Enjoy if you get to go.

TS.. GOOD IDEA ... that's in the works already<G>. I have been in contact with Old Lahaina already.
Just waiting for them to confirm that they can deal with us as a group booking, while having everyone call in their own reservation.
Normally with a group they require the deposit to come from one source, but I'm hoping to hear they can adjust it to our needs.

For information purposes their normal rate is $82. +change.. the group rate they quoted me is $72+ change.

I had sent out a group e mail last week or so asking who would be interested in the Luau, and received a very positive response.

Perhaps I don't have your correct e-mail address?

Because people have been added to the group since, I was going to send out a follow up e-mail as soon as Old Lahaina confirmed the arrangements with me.

In the meantime, anyone reading this thread who is interested in joining the gang for the Luau at Old Lahaina, in Maui is free to e-mail me at Kuki@cruisemates.com, to express their interest, and get on my list.

Sure hope we haven't "over-hyped" the OLL, but you are on the right track negotiating a deal for your fellow cruisemates. If you are not satisfied with their reply let us know and we will give it a shot on your behalf. No guarantee's, but we have known these folks for 20 years and have found them to be fair and prudent in their business practice.

Hi everyone, we plan on being at the luau. So Kuki, looks like its going to be antler city there also. My ? is do you know how far the luau is from the ship, as far as transportation goes? I can't believe it's almost time. We booked last Oct. And can't wait to meet you guys either. Aloha.
