Default Coffee

How does the coffee rate on the Summit? Is it drinkable or do I need to bring my own?

There is an Italian coffee bar espresso and capacinno but it will cost you $2.50 a pop.

I'd be interested in knowing if you were going to bring a coffee pot or
how you planned to brew your coffee onboard?

We just came back from a 10-day cruise on Grandeur. I used the coffee bags that are like tea bags. It does not taste like brewed coffee but it is better than the cruise lines coffee.

I have a little 1 cup brewing basket with filters. I use one of those 'stick in the cup' heating elements in a mug or cup that I get from the cabin steward....it takes 2 cups...1 to heat in and the other to brew. Good luck. Millie room service coffee tasted awful on both of our cruises.

We dissed Celebrity's coffee on the Infinity in our evaluation questionnaire, handed in last week. It's weak and tastless, ironic for a cruise line which hypes the quality of its food service. I complained about crummy coffee to our dining room waiter, who, being from Turkey, just rolled his eyes.

The Cova Cafe concession on the Millenium class ships is good but over-priced.

We were on the Century last week and thought that the coffee was very good(the regular, not the decaf). It was strong and full-bodied, like we are used to here in the northwest.

We have used the coffee bags and (somebody's going to swat me) also brought our own 4-cup coffee pot.

We just came back from 12 days on Summit. The coffee is OK.
If you want really good stuff go to the Cova Cafe and get the hi test $2.50 per cup but very good.
The coffee was better on this trip than on most other Celebrity trips we've been on.
We went to Costa Rica and Columbia so we had lots of coffee to take home. Didn't see any in the individual serving pouch like tea bags to bring aboard.
