Default boarding the ship

We are not Captain's Club members. Is there any chance we will be allowed to board the ship earlier than the "official" boarding time? Do only Captain's Club members get to board earlier? If we get there around noon hoping to board early, will we just have to sit around for a couple of hours?

Cheers,
Michelle B.

The only advantage that members of Capt. Club enjoy is a special "line" for boarding.
Usually this is shorter and you board more quickly. Non members are not restricted
until "boarding"time--whatever that may be. We have always been ready to board
between 11 and 12, and have never had a long wait. The important thing is to have all
your documents filled out properly and signed. ENJOY

No, we were on the ship at 11:15. Boarded along with the CC members.

Hi Michelle,
As the other posters said, you should be able to board around noon, right after the CC members. We just did our first and were not CC members, but were able to get onboard rather quickly. Just remember to go to the Celebrity web-site and fill in all your embarkment information, makes the process a bit faster. When we cruised in late Aug. early Sept., we had the computer docs because we did fill in all the information, and they said they were just starting to see these, so it does help.

Thanks for the info, guys. I did fill out the information on the CC site, Donna, it was quick and painless... hopefully that will help.

Cheers,
Michelle B.

You may consider joining the CC. The mere $35/family lifetime membership is well worth the price.

Speaking of the Captain's Club "special line".....we have actually found it is sometimes quicker to use the "regular line" as the CC line is sometimes pretty long.

Speaking of the CC ... we just got new cards. The snappy burgundy ones, indicating ELITE members ... 10 or more Celeb cruises. That and $47 will buy a nice bottle of Pinot Grigio.

I'm interested to see if it makes any difference.

Hi NewtoCC,
I take it you're trying to figure out how to fill out your embarkation information online. Go to the Celebrity Cruises website and hover the mouse pointer over the menu item labelled "reservations." A new menu should appear, and one of the options is "guest documentation." This may work as a direct link.

Simply enter your reservation number, ship, and date of sailing, and you should be able to fill out your documents online.

Hope this is the info you were looking for. Post again if you have trouble.

Cheers,
Michelle B.
