I was wondering what would be more approrpriate in handling wine brought from home - all the wine given to the steward or given to the steward one by one?. I would much prefer to give the whole selection to the wine steward so that I don't have to lug around wine every time and also so that I don't have to finish off each bottle. All comments welcome.
We just got back from Infinity last weekend. We took a couple of fine bottles of wine and just took them to dinner with us when we wanted them. Corkage is $6/bottle. Note that you cannot take your own wine to the specialty restaurants such as the Olympic or USS United States. It seemed better to me to keep the bottles of wine under our control until it was time to consume them. Enjoy!!
You don't have to "carry" it to the dining room. Ask your cabin steward to bring it for you (tip), just give him your table number and seating time.
Bon Voyage
