Default Casino on Summit in Hawaii

I was surfing thru the "Let's Get Lei'd" web site and saw that there is no casino in the Summit in Hawaii. Does this mean that in the evening the ship does not go past the 3 mile boundry and the casino is not open? Or will it only be open on the 5 sea days?

Not that I'm eager to lose my money, but we do enjoy playing blackjack late @ night after the last show.

Thanks for any info.

Sue

Hi, Susan ...

There is certainly a casino on Summit. (You think Kuki would travel on a ship without a casino?)

Kuki assures us that there will be casino gambling.

Ships (such as NCL Star) that are homeported in the Islands are not allowed to have casinos, thanks to Dan Inyoue.

Cruised Princess from Ensenada to Hawaii last year. Casino was open the whole time we were at sea, but once we reached Hawaiian waters, they were closed for the remainder of the cruise.

Last time we cruised Vancouver to Hawaii, on RCI, the casino was open between ports in the islands.
Because it's been two years since that trip, in case things changed, I double checked with Celeb's head office and was told the casino would be open between islands.
If not, we'll set up a craps game on my balcony .

That's good news. Glad I know! Now we'll stretch out our gambling money instead of spending it the first four days cruising to the islands. (5/3 Summit Ensenada to Hawaii)
