If your clothes get wet, you want to have the most air circulation around them as possible.

There is also the ship's laundry.

For shoes, a hair dryer ... just don't leave it alone unless you want to see your shoes go up in flames.

Also on the Infinity and all the other celebrity ships I have been on their is a clothes line that few people realize. In the shower or rather where the shower curtain is their is a line that polls out and comes across to hang wet clothes on. Has always worked fine for us with bathing suits and whatever. Actually we did get caught in the rain in Juneau last August while on the Infinity and it worked fine to dry the clothes.

For our cruise last month I brought two inflatable hangers, clothes pins, and an elastic clothes line (with a suction cup at each end). The clothesline in the shower that is provided by the ship is fine, but there is not enough air circulation in the bathroom, and it takes days for items to dry. We attached the clothesline I brought to the mirrors in the main cabin, and hung the inflatable hangers from the air vents in the ceiling. It sort of looked like dogpatch each night when we went to bed, but most items were dry by the next morning.
