Our friends who sail exclusively on Celebrity just returned from Zenith. They told us that all second seating shows were before dinner (except formal nights). They were told by the cruise director that this was to be a fleet wide change.
We have run into this once or twice on previous cruises , but not every night. Has anyone encountered this recently on Celebrity?
Hi Bill, that is the way they do it on Royal Caribbean, guess that is why they are making the change on Celebrity. We always take early sitting just because of the show time being early. I like to visit the shows after dinner and not before. If you chose late sitting for the extra time to get ready the earily show defeats the purpose.
That's exactly why I'm asking the question. I love those few hours when the early seating folks are gone from the decks or that I don't have to rush back from shore to get ready for dinner. That is also my thelasotherapy time. Great way to unwind from the day.
I will be a bit bummed out if I have to rush to early shows. Probably means we will skip a whole bunch of them.
Yes, once or twice a cruise, I think usually on the nights they have the late parties on deck, so there's no conflict. Every night would be a major change.
I've experienced the once or twice a cruise as you describe. Our friends indicated it was every night (except formal) . Hasn't anyone done a recent Celebrity cruise that can comment?
