Default Galaxy Dec 3

Good Mon. a.m.! Anyone out there doing the Galaxy on Dec 3 from Charleston? We got such a great price we couldn't turn it down! We are very young 50s and love to meet other people on cruises. Also, anyone been to Tortola? Looking for leads on good local excursion arrangement rather than canned cruise excursion. Unfortunately we only have 6 hours in port I believe.

Hi there! We won't be on the Dec 3 cruise, but the Feb 24th one! Wish we could find a deal on that one! Anyway, there are a bunch of people over at www.cruisecritic.com who are on your trip.

If you are staying in Charleston the night before and want to know some good hotels, etc. just let me know! I live here.

I have purchased $100 worth of dining gift certificates at www.restaurant.com for downtown charleston. You should check it out. I have only spent about $30 for $100 worth of certificates. Monday seems to be the best day to bid.

Have a great day!

My wife Sally and I will be onboard on December 3, We are from about 45 miles south of Charleston as the crow flys. Looking forward to it at this point. Have never been to Tortola, but hope to find more info prior to the trip.

We are looking at Galaxy on Dec. 13th out of Charleston.

We would drive over from Atlanta, so any suggestions as to the best place to park? Also, how close is the ship docked to the lovely area of Old Charleston where you can walk around?

Thanks!
Beth

going on Galaxy out of Balto. Oct.11,First stop Key West. Cant wait. Been to Tortola 2 years ago. Loved it. Primative island, friendly people. goats and chickens wandering around. Did our own ride to best snorkling Beach The best I ever saw. Lots of fish but most important flora and fauna moving in the current. I hope man hasnt. ruined it. A native drove us to the beach up a steep mountain on the other side of the city. It was a thrill no gourd rails. Plenty of time on the islandJack wrote:
