Although our next cruise is on RCCI, we are hoping to do Summit in '04. The website seems to have changed a bit when you go into the pricing area. (not as easy as previous site) I am coming up with some very high prices & limited cabins for '04. Does anyone know if this is too early? or too late? Am meeting with TA & hope the prices she gets are more in line with the early booking ones quoted in the brochure. It's a 10 day cruise but $3500 pp is a bit steep for us!
Not sure of the exact dates you're speaking about, but I checked February 2004 for the Summit 10 day cruise and the prices were starting at $1300, which I agree is very high for booking so far in advance.
You can get an 11 night cruise leaving in a month on the Galaxy for $1000. I've also found that the site will only give you a few cabins in each category. It won't show all available. I know this because I stopped at my TA to discuss a possible upgrade for my cruise next month and he listed many more suites than the website did but he was getting the same prices as the website. Although, I'm sure a TA could get a better rate for a cruise 1 year away.
Thanks for the reply. Only other one was a pesonal e-mail from an internet travel co. I guess they check the boards for possible clients. Anyhow "04 is a ways off so am sure we will get a good cabin/fair price through our TA We are set for Mar 03--just pd final bal yesterday! (enchantment on RCI)
