Default Odd ball recipie question

Last year we went on a western caribean Celebrity cruise. On that cruise they offered (as well as I am sure they do on all cruises) recipie cards for the cruise.

What we didn't realize was that we had to goto

When we went down to the service desk the next day to get the cards, we were informed we were too late they didn't have anymore. But they did give me the number to Customer Service. But when we got back home they told me that I had to get it on the ship. Typical CS if you ask me ;o)

I only ask because they served a cold cherry soup one evening and I LOVED it. My wife is a chef and she will make if I can find the reciepie.

Seeing how I just found this board I thought I would ask....Anyone care to help?

It was an early Nov. Cruise if that helps anyone

If you do a google search for "cold cherry soup" there are a bunch of recipes. Might not be the one that you enjoyed with Celebrity but close.

Sure wish I knew they had recipe cards.

Well i have searched all over the place without any luck. They all have whole cherries still in the soup. The soup we had was a lot like tomoato soup in consistancy.

I wish i would have known about the receipies being on sale in the gift shop.

Thanks for the help everyone. I will just keep looking and hope i get that soup again this year on the Millie!

I have those recipes from "Century" Nov. 2002. Cherry soup is not among them, however there is one for "Chilled Strawberry Soup". Let know if you want it.

We would love the Strawberry Soup recipe. It has been a highlight of every cruise for my son and me.

Try this link. Put in some ingredients and see what comes up. Good luck in your search.
