Hi everyone, I was just wondering how the Panama Canal cruise was on Celebrity. Which ship would you prefer? Which itinerary? Do you know if they have cruises as late as the end of April or the beginning of May down there? Thanks for all you help.

AFAIK, MV Infinity is the only Celebrity vessel offering Panama Canal cruises this fall and winter season, except for repositioning cruises in late April or early May. This ship's itinerary looks outstanding. I'm going in 17 days, so I'll be able to provide a better answer next month.

We switched over to Royal Carib for 10 day Panama Canal (partial transit ) for Mar 05--a very nice itinerary on Brilliance--I did not want to fly back from West coast! You maight want to check it out depending on what you are looking for.

just took the summit panama canal cruise on 9/26/03 from san diego to fort lauderdale. i couldnt say enough about it. everything was great. the port in costa rica was disappointing. very dirty. all the mexico stops were great. i would definitely recommend this trip. the panama canal was very interesting. book it
