Bimini Boat Yard on 17 St. is very nice and very casual. 15 St Fisheries on the Intercoastal waterway. Both good spots!

You can always try Don Shula's Steakhouse, especially if you don't mind paying an extra $10 for a baked potato!!!!

Shula's by the Sea has patio dining (as well as inside dining) right across the street from the beach and has very good food at reasonable prices in a casual, fun atmosphere, and there's a bar out on the patio too. There is always a nice breeze from the sea and their bloody marys and buttermilk chicken tenders are things I always look forward to before my cruise.

well there you go - I guess $10 for a baked potato is reasonable after all!

You gotta go to Testa's - it is on that main street with the trees. It has a history, and they also have a restaurant in Bar Harbor, Maine.

Service is real good as is the food. Love to go to the bar there also. It has many locals go there as well as tourists.

The only thing I don't like is their red pasta sauce - but their white sauce is GREAT!!!

There are many great restaurants to choose from, all depends on your pocketbook..And, more importantly, is the proximity to where you will be staying . Let me know and I will respond again.

Bimini Boatyard mentioned above was not that impressive--pricey, noisey & a sort of nouveau menu. But for a large group it might work--we were looking for a nice quiet lunch by the water--there's no real view except from the outside area as it faces a canal not the inter coastal itself.... Casual Dinner at the Mexican restaurant adjacent to the Amerisuites on 17th St causeway was better & would be great fun for a group--fiesta time! Depends on where you are located & what you are looking for...

OK, so your staying in Davie, not very far from the port. As you want a fun night, moderately priced, I would suggest the following.

1) Sawgrass Mills( 20 mintes from Davie) Oasis restaurant area, Hard Rock Cafe
2) Applebees
3) TGI Fridays
4) Shooters on the intercoastal

a little more expensive, but well worth it is
5) Gibby's (Oakland Park Blvd.)
6) Rustic Inn
7) Las Olas area- Mangos

don't be drawn to the tourist area on 17th street, high prices, not so good food.

Or, if you have some time and want to have a fun night go down
to Miami Beach's South Beach, Ocean Drive, a lot of good restaurants, nice walking area, etc. From Davie, about 40 minutes...

Enjoy

Conc d'oro (phonetic) in Hollywood has excellent food but there will be a wait for a tabkle & they are a bit snooty--also has a guitar player --go early for parking & a table. It's in a nice shopping cricle as well!
