Default Millenium Cabin 9090 - Noisy

We've already booked for Oct 12 Mediterranean. Due to recent RCL cruise my Mom is now concerned that Sky Deck cabins (even if concierge class) will be noisy. The specific complaints that she heard about were water in pool splashing against sides, people stomping around on Resort Deck, noise from cafe kitchen.

I realize that it was a different cruise line but I'd like to either set her mind to rest or else book a Cat 1 on a lower deck (and forego the key chain).

Is anyone familiar with the cabins in this specific area?

Hi Cher,
If your mom is worried about noise, just book a cabin that has guest cabins above and below your cabin, should be no noise problem then.

We were on the Millie Oct 14 - Venice to Barcelona. We had cabin 9102 (or was it 9201?) Anyway, it was mid-ship and CC and we were delighted. It was under the spa and we never heard anything after the 1st night when they were delivering luggage. We loved the overhang, as we could sit outside in all kinds of weather and we loved the perks - especially the CC Breakfast Menu and the comfortable bed with NO GAP between the beds.

You might want to look up the deck over Sky and see exactly what will be over your mom's cabin, but in October very few people were using the pool deck anyway.

Good luck.

We have stayed in room 9088 on the Summit and I believe that the two ships are designed to be alike.Very liitle noise from above(certainly not pervasive) The overhang is a blessing in that it offers welcome shade.

We were in 9008.

Extremely rare noise from the disco on the 11th deck, but all in all very quiet.

I'd be very happy with the same cabin again.
