e-mail charges

Does anyone know the charges for e-mail on board Constellation? Would it be the same whether you're in the Carribean or Europe?

Call Celebrity and ask and see what answer you get. I called once and was told 50 cents a minute, another time was told 95 cents a minute.

When recently on the Zenith, I inquired how internet connect charges were established. According to the customer service rep., the claim was that each ship in Celebrity's fleet could have their own charging algorithm. Whether that information is totally correct I cannot say. But... the connect charge on the Zenith was a straight 50 cents per minute. No minimum, no maximum, no packages, nothing else... 50 cents per minute. When I did the Infinity 14 day cruise in Jan.03, there was a $100 flat fee package for "all you can use". There have been several messages regarding Celebrity's outsourcing of the internet et al. I sense that the Milli class ships may have been outsourced since they actually have a comp room. The computers on the Zenith were located in the library and in a corner of the show lounge. Does anyone have any info on current charges on the Mercury or Milli size ships?

Just charged 50 cents per minute on Mercury cruise ending 02/20.

75 cents per minute on the Millie about a month ago. You could pre buy some minutes and it would drop down to 70 cents and 65 cents as well. Computers worked great and the connection was very fast.
