Sail Away

36 more days...but who'se counting......gee, I guess that makes os DDM's......

Anyway, in keeping with my badgering of all who read these boards with wierd questions, does anyone know at what time sail away would be for the 4/16 Summit cruise? I seem to recall when we left on Century out of Fort Lauderdale, it was 4 or 5 in the afternoon. Then I seem to recall reading someplace that for Summit it wouldn't be until around 8:00 which sounded strange.

Any info is appreciated......

Thanks in advance,

Sid1962

When we sailed away out of Ft. Lauderdale on the Millenmium in February, 2004, it was at 5 pm. I remember because that was when I had my first "Foo-foo" drink of the cruise with a little umbrella in it.

It is at 4:30. Well, that's the schedule anyway.

Your complete itinerary schedule found in your documents (when you receive them) should state what time you are "expected" to Sail Away. In the case of any late travelers who made arrangments through Celebrity, the actual time of departure may be delayed. Our recent Millennium cruise left port right on time at 4:30 p.m. starting the parade of ship departures from Ft. Lauderdale.

Just back...The party starts once you board but sail away on the 10 day was 4:30--just after the muster drill! You will enjoy this great ship, great service, food, music etc!!!!
