Galaxy from Galveston

I have been considering doing the 11-12 day Panama Canal trip from Galveston, but the rate of 1500/pp seems a little high for the balcony cabin.

Are these rates likely to come down soon?

Which are more likely to discount the most in general between now and 11/03?
Inside/oceanview/balcony/suite? (mybet is oceanview, but i love the millie's balconies.)

Anyone with an edjumacated opinion?

I have been tracking the 11 day Galaxy cruise out of Galveston for April 14th 2005, and have to report that the cat 11 cabins INCREASED in cost by over $50 in just 2 days.

I had intended to wait until I was on board my May 2004 cruise, but decided not to risk the increasing fare. Got a less expensive rate from a TA, plus a discount because I booked on the day they were having an expo.

I cruise solo so have to pay the supplement .

I am not savvy enough on my "machine" to book on line.
