As long as we are into comparing other ships with the Con's specialty restaurant here is my 2 cents. My opinion is that the Crystal's extra cruise costs result in excellent service and cuisine. However, we find the Radison's cuisine the best but very poor dining service. Some very nice thing's about the Radison is the no tipping policy (and they mean it), complementary wine with meals, complementary in room bar and setups, etc.
We are leaving Friday for the trans Atlantic cruise on the Constellation from San Juan to Dover. We will also take the next leg through Scandanavia, Estinia, and St. Petersburg. These trips are dirt cheap compared to the Crystal and Radison but it'll be a fun cruise. I realize in cruising I "get what I pay for".
I also like a BMW over my Toyota however we need to compare apples to apples and I would like to take additional cruises rather than Crystal no tipping included along with free wine. You can also take cruise that will stock your room with your favorite liquor however you will pay one way or another. To each his own however this is aHolland web site not one of the 6 star cruises.
