Mercury is often included quite high on list of the most beautiful cruise ships and as often amoung ships with top grades for food and servive. She is a great ship, wonderfully laid out with everything you would want in a cruise.
That is my unbiased opinion.

If you plan on booking the Mercury in Jan 05 - you should note that there are 2 separate itineraries - a 10-day and a 11-day. I am thinking on going on the 11-day much better itinerary.

Hi, my husband and I are booked on the 12-6-04 11-night Mercury cruise to the Mexican Riviera. It's our first cruise with Celebrity, and our first cruise with a balcony cabin. I have cruised RCCL once, Princess once and Carnival three times, usually with an outside cabin with a big window. I hope that the Mercury lives up to all the great things I have read about it, and I hope we have good weather considering it will be December.
