We are planning our first cruise to Alaska for July 2005 (we have gone on several other cruises). The question has come up which is better the cruisetour through the heart of Alaska or the Candian Rockie Railtour?
I would love to hear from people who have been on either or both!!!!
We went a long time ago on the Alaskan rail tour with Princess, and it was great.
We especially enjoyed the riverboat tour in Fairbanks (watch the bush pilots, etc.) and the trip up on a glacier via helecoptor. The train trip was terrific also.
However, I have always wanted to try the Canadian Rocky tour as I can imagine it is wonderful - would like to try it sometime and look forward to other posts that will reflect people's experience with that tour.
