Default Zenith Concierge Class

Has anyone any comments on whether this upgrade is worth the extra $s? I read the messages about the "iccky" appetizers, but really now. After sailing Celebrity 8 times, I find it hard to swallow that any of the food is really bad.

We are booked on the Thanksgiving sailing of the Zenith and would appreciate anyone's experiences re: the Concierge Class. Last year we did the exact same cruise, but this year our former cabins are now Consierge Class. Just looking for a bit of reassurance....

We sailed on the Zenith in Feb 04 (southern caribbean cruise) in a suite and enjoyed the evening appetizers. Never thought they were icky. We gobbled them up as soon as delivered, even though we were going right to dinner. Good selection and no repeats on a 14 night cruise, but they were prepared ahead and covered in saran wrap when delivered. The afternoon tea was great for cookies, too, which we squirreled away for a late night snack.

The food in the Caravelle (main dining room) was fabulous every meal, room service was good, buffet was fine and late night sushi was OK - but not as good as made to order sushi at home. We loved the grill at the back of the pool deck for a quick lunch alfresco, but also enjoyed lunch in the Caravelle on the at-sea days when there was lots of time for lunch.

The suites and CC class on this ship would make the difference, I think between an OK voyage and an excellent one. We mainly booked the suite for the extra room (both of us are 6 feet tall and appreciate the little extra space in the suite and also bathroom) Our good friends had the CC class and it was about as good as the suite, just a little less floor space.

Have Fun!

We had a CC cabin on Century. We didnt feel it was worth it, but others might have different opinion. The canapes werent very good. I never new what was on them so I didnt usually eat them. I dont eat something if I have no clue what it is Try CC, you dont have to book it again if you arent happy with it.
