Default Horizon Questions

Horizon Cruisers

I'm booked on an Horizon Cruise out of Norfolk, VA and have book the CC Category on Atlantic Deck. Has anyone every book a CC Category and what all is included.

Also, I'm reading some websites and there are some comments that the Food, isn't as good as it use to be, can anyone that has been on Horizon lately, clue me in. I just took my first RCCL cruise on GOS in June and I thought the food wasn't that good. The food on CArnival (6 ships) I thought was much better. I was really disappointed with the food on GOS. I hope Horizon has great food. Does anyone know where I can view a sample of Horizon's memus?

Also, I heard that you shouldn't book Horizon tours on Celebrity website that when the passenger got on board, they had no reservations for thier tours. Can anyone that has used thsi service lately confirm.

This is my first Celebirty Cruise and I had heard it was a class about Carnival and RCCL.

Thanks for the all comments in advance.

My husband and I went an 10day Ultimate Carb. last November on Horizon. We had no complaints. Food was very good. Actually I thought it was better than the previous 3 cruises on RCCL. I booked through a TA so I can't help you there but I believe you will be happy with the ship. Not a large ship but never felt crowded. Theatre area was very very cold. I can say that the shows left alot to be desired but you can always leave and go to the casino so no big deal there. Rooms were spacious and showers were alot larger than RCCL. Hope you have a great time. Service was also very good.

I went on the Horizon last May to Bermuda and went on the Summit last Dec and I thought the food was better on the Horizon than on the Summit. Which quite surprised me.

Althought I didn't care for the Horizon's decor and the ship was a little too oldish looking for me, I just loved the Summit.

I hope the food is not going downhill on Celebrity, I feel they are a few steps up from RCL.

I have now gotten to the point that I don't let the food quality bother me. There is so much to eat on the ships you can never go hungry.
