I have my ways! Actually, I sell cruises and got an email about it. I know someone who got their Doc's today and the change was on their Doc.s. All excursion booked through Celebrity have been transfered to the correct day.
Tks, cruisequeen, for the info...not minding 2 days at sea
at the start of our cruise at all...just wish the end weren't
so hectic..but will probably spend most of the Key West day
on board...Getting close now...
p.s. Is the Summit A-Ok now with propulsion system?
Key West was not damaged much. I really doubt we go to Grand Cayman. That's too bad because it is quite beautiful.
I got my doc's today! It did not have the changes listed either, but the issue date on them was prior to the changes.
Evelyn, are you signed up for the CC party?
Cruisequeen: Do you think we won't go to Grand Cayman because
of damage...it's one of my favorites...love to swim with the stingrays
and shop their lovely stores. One of the cleanest islands I've been to.
I'm sure we will know something about GC in the next couple of weeks. So far no ships are going there but they say they want to be ready by mid-Oct.. I have been checking on the Celebrity site under both the itinerary and the news releases. I'll keep you posted if I hear anything definate.
Hi Cruise Queen,
I received my documents yesterday 10/1 and the itinerary changes were listed. My TA says that Grand Caymans will be up and running by the time we set sail. Hope she is right looking forward to going.
The Cayman Islands Government has temporarily issued restrictions on travel to Grand Cayman. Until further notice, only Caymanians and Cayman Islands Status Holders, Cayman Residents and individuals with "Right to Work" visas will be permitted to enter Grand Cayman.
However, individuals wishing to travel to the Sister Islands, Cayman Brac and Little Cayman, are permitted to connect in Grand Cayman with confirmed round trip air tickets and pre-booked accommodations.
