More questions for all you people who have travelled the constellation before. Through reading the various reviews, I have read that there is an extra cost for breakfast in your room. Is this true? I have read that there is free sorbet and cool wash cloths brought around by the pool. Is this true? Is there champagne, white gloved service and bags carried to your stateroom upon arrival? Is there sushi aboard the Constellation? And, last but not least what kind of items are on the room service menu? I would really appreciate all answers to my questions...thanx!!!
There is NO charge for room service. In fact if you like you can have dinner in your cabin and order from the full dining room menu.
A tip for room service is appropriate though. $1 or $2 is adequate if you have breakfast delivered.
There is sorbets and icy clothes passed around by the pool on hot days, as well as icy clothes when returning to the ship in ports of call.
And, yes, complimentary champagne when you board.
Constellation is a lovely ship. I've sailed her twice, and enjoyed both trips immensely.
The concierge cabins have a more extensive room service menu but one can order anything that is served in the dining room during dining room hours by just writing those items in on the form.

We get breakfast everyday delivered to our room so that we can have a "first breakfast" from our balcony. We usually go down and have a regular breakfast later.

The sorbet and towels are a lovely touch and are available only on sea days. Yes, there is champage upon arrival and white glove service escorting you to your cabin. Do not miss the sushi every night we really enjoyed it. My husband used to bring it back to our cabin and we would enjoy it on our balcony with a glass of wine. The ship is beautiful, service wonderful and lots of fun!!
No charge for room service
Suchi is great on board serving each night starting around 6 pm
Towels and ice cream at pool are a nice touch
They do a nice job taking you to cabin with a glass of champagne or wine by a room steward
