The Equinox is a Solstice class ship but don't worry. I just returned from a 7 night cruise on the Eclipse (also Solstice class). We had a Sunset Veranda which was all the way aft with a view of the ship's wake. We had no problems with soot. I believe the soot issue is extremely exaggerated.

Just returned from the Solstice we were stateroom 7334 on the sunrise deck with balcony. Very quiet room not to far from an elevator.

8205 on the Legend was a LARGE very nice room. Larger than the one next to it BUT....
you could hear every chair scrap accross the floor on the lido deck above. What a shame.
Was on the Christmas 2011 Cruise 8 days.,
Going ont he Legend again in May 2013 to EWurope for 12 days. NOT staying in 8205

This is a great article and it helps me to know many things about ships i never go on a cruise but i love to and most probably i am planning a trip to Austria through cruise.

Does anyone have any secret cabin info for the new ship Reflection?? We haent been away in over a year and we are planning to try for another baby so this will hopefully be the last trip for a while, any and all help is appreciated.
