Tampa motels/hotels??
 

Can anybody recommend a motel/hotel in Tampa for one night pre-cruise before boarding the Horizon?

I'm specifically interested in a motel that will allow my father to park his car there during our 11 night cruise.

Grand hyatt is wonderful and has free parking for cruisers. Ask for "The Casitas."

These rooms are like condos in the tropics scattered on the beautiful grounds. You will love your rooms and the hotel.

Oystercatchers is one of the finest seafood restaurants I have experienced and it's on the grounds too.

We stayed at Chase Suites Hotel last year and loved it. We're staying there again in April 2005. They offer a free shuttle to the port.

We sailed on the Horizon on November 29 out of Tampa and stayed the night before at the Tampa Airport Westshore Hilton. The rooms are very nice, they have gated parking with 24 hour security and provide a free shuttle to the cruise terminal, as well as up to 15 days of free parking. Enjoy your cruise on the Horizon! We certainly did.
