Default Celebrity's Web Site preboarding info

Has anyone succesfully filled out preboarding requirements on the web site? It takes forever to download. I can't even get past the first page where they ask name ship and sail date. I no sooner fill out the blanks and it erases my ship and sail date.

BB,

Are you on dial up or high speed (DSL, CAble Modem etc?)

I have a high speed cable and filled out the form without a problem.

At the bottom of ths screen, you need to scroll down to it, is the "submit" or "OK"

Make sure to enter your confirmation number correctly too. Shouldn't be a problem, but maybe Celebrity was working on the site; I'd try it again!

Well, I'm among those who can't enter their information online. I can get through all the screens OK, but on the final screen, when I click on "save", I get the cryptic message "the system is unable to handle your request for updating embarkation information". Others who are going on the same cruise have entered their information with no problem.

I sent a message to Celebrity about two weeks ago, but haven't heard from them yet. Not cruising on Celebrity until February '06, so it's not crunch time yet.

I called Celebrity and they suggested that I fill out the form by hand and have my travel agent fax it to them. They even said I could hand it to them when I board.

When I go to the section where you can do your cruise documents - I found that if I logged in to do shore excursions, I couldn't flip and do cruise documents. But if I went all the way out of the web site - came back - and logged in to do cruise documents I could. If you have the patience to play with the system - 43 days to cruise heaven

See my post above. I got a response from Celebrity after almost a month. They said their website had been down, but was OK now, and I should try again. So I did. Same thing.

Celebrity included a toll free number for their internet help folks. It's 800-722-5941. Guess I'll have to give them a call.

Are you running Norton Anti-Virus / Internet Security at Home? I have found that it can really screw up online transactions. It won't let me book excursions or process embarkation documents online. However, when I go to a computer that doesn't have the Norton program it all works fine. Therefore, I am forced to do these types of transaction on my computer at work.

I tried again, this time with my anti-virus and firewall software disabled, plus I turned off my popup blocker. No luck. Still get the same cryptic message. Don't you just love computers?

I'll try again from another computer.

Make sure your IE Security settings are at Medium or Medium Low:

You can access it via Tools: Internet Options: Security.

If it works you can change it back afterward.

Take care,
Mike
