Default Condition of Infinity

We're sailing on the Infinity to Alaska in June and wonder if anyone has sailed her recently. Our last trip on her was three years ago to Hawaii, and we're wondering what condition the ship is in now. Thank you for the information.

Infinity just got ranked the #1 large ship of 2005 (#5 in 04) by Conde Naste Magazine. It should be in excellent shape! I'm going in July!!

Great to hear. I'm on a 15-nighter Transcanal next April. Can't wait to go. Just love the Millenium ships.

Hi,

Would that be the 2nd april06 FortLauderdale SanFransisco sailing ????

We're on that too. !!!!

The good news is that, for now at least, the have left the deck #11 lounge
( Revelations on the SUMMIT ) alone....!!!! I certainly hope they learn from the
awful mistake done when they obliterated the prime viewing spot on the SUMMIT
with that Cirque du Soleil thing...

Saw the INFINITY in Vancouver yesterday....still looks great !!! Can't wait till
next spring.
Cheers

Infinity will be the new ship of choice with the other two M class ships hampered by cds & Mille doing a fairly routine carib itin!

That's right, claude, I'm onboard! I was able to snag an aft CC cabin on deck 7 - AND I'll have it all to myself, too . . . :-)

BTW, my nickname is claude - - weird, huh?

Ciao for now,

Whey do we wonder about the condition of a 3 year old ship? The huge amont of new ships brought into service the past 10 years creates unrealistic expections of how much wear one should encounter in a product. I think it is a real problem. Too many new ships will create a condition where that is what people will not only want, but expect. And conditions that are like on new ships, with a new ship smell and hardly any evidence of usage.

FWIW, I enjoy plenty of restaurants, hotels, inns, and other social establishments for what they offer, and yes, if I look hard enough, I notice wear. Pennies get darker, shoes get scuffed, suits colors fade, floors get scratches. That's part of use, and ships get plenty of them. From what I can see, ships tend to be cleaner and better maintained than most products we use.
