Thinking of a 12 night cruise on the Millennium to the Mediterranean next year and thought we would try cabin 7000, 7001, 7002, or 7003. We have never been in a front cabin, mostly mid-ship. Is it a rougher ride in the front? How is the view? THANKS for your replies.
Hi Lucy. I was in a very forward cabin on the Maasdam recently. There was a lot more movement there. Think of how a tetter-totter moves. I'll be on The milli in november for a 14 night transatlantic, and found a 2b veranda was the same price as those forward cabins.
Way more movement, not necessary rougher.
The view is....front !!! With the movement, not always steady and could be
bothersome if you loke to focus on something, a target, a scecific point, etc...
Re, the anchor, deck # 7 somewhat insulated from its noise, if in use in a
''tender '' port.
