Traditional fixed seating in the dining room. You even have to make a reservation (and tip the staff) to eat dinner on Lido deck.

What lido deck? Been on 4 Celebrity cruises and have never seen or heard of a Lido deck. There is alternative dining in the evening at the Buffet area that you can call down to guest services and make a reservation for. The menu is somewhat limited and not the same as the main didning room. It is full service dining and they do a wonderful job. Those waiters are not included in the gratuity paments at the end of the cruise so you really should tip them. Celebrity recommends 2.00 per person. I always left 5.00 or 6 dollars for the 2 of us because they do such a wonderful job. You can charge the tip to your cabin or just pay them in cash. I also tipped the maitre d' because some nights we just walked up without a reservation whent hey were busy and he gladly seated us with no wait.

Hot Mamma, that is exactly what they are referring to as dining on the Lido Deck. On most, but not all, ships the buffet dining deck is called the Lido Deck.
