pools on infinity

are the outdoor pools on the infinity heated to a temperature suitable for alaska weather during the alaska cruises? We've never been on an alaska cruise so this will be our first.

Depending on the time you go toAlaska you may very well find real summer temps. In May and September you can find anything from Summer to almost winter temps.
The outdoor pool is not heated to my knowledge, but this doesn't seem to stop some brave souls. A lot of folks used the Thelasotherapy pool as if it was a big heated swimming pool last September when we were on the sister ship Summit.

do you know what the temp is usually like in the beggining of august?

Hi,
INFINITY outdoor pool not heated. Temperatures in August up in
Alaska are quite pleasant, near the warmest of the year. On sunny days, you'll
find the pools area crowded, in and around as it can be pleasant real early.
It is also open to the sun from dawn onward. On rainy days, you probably would not
want to be up there anyways.
We sailed SUMMIT last June 18th Northbound....FABULOUS, including the pool
area where we spent quite a bit of time. Mid afternoon sun was actually getting a bit
much and temperature , mid-cruise, was in the 80's

Nope, the pools are not heated, but there is always the hot tubs. While we were cruising in Alaska on Infinity, there were many that did enjoy going in the hot tubs. There were also a few brave kids that used the pools, they were on the cool side.
