My wife, 8 year old daughter and I are booked on the Mercuy in a Royal Suite for a December 23 sailing. I was wondering if anyone had any insight into the kids programs on this ship? Our last sailing was on Holland America, which was a disappointment. Also, what are the extras afforded to Royal Suite customers? Thanks for any input.
Royal Suites are very spacious. Butler service, separate dining area, separate sleeping area. Never could afford one (but would like to splurge one day) so I'm not able to answer any extra perks you will get. I commend you for the Royal Suite, enjoy.
As for a kids program I understand it is very good and comments are positive.
Might I suggest you call Celebrity direct to customer relations and ask. They are very helpful.

The kids program on the Mercury was great. My son loved it. There are many activities geared towards the kids by their age group. There will be pizza parties and events that you'll probably be having dinner alone with your wife some nights. She'll be able to pick and choose which events to attend as well. You'll have to check her in and out for security. The staff was great for our trip.
We sailed in Alaska and there were many kids aboard. I assume that this week in December will have many kids as well since they'll be on their winter solstice break.
