Default taking a bottle on board

still getting different stories about taking a bottle on board with you just had our tickets nothing to say you can not take a bottle on with you just want a drink in the cabin on the balconey befor dinner any help ee

You can not take bottle in your carry on bags and I would suggest that you place in your luggage whic is checked and put in bubble wrap in case of possible breakage.You may bring wine on board for room consumption however down the line bringing wine on board may result in corkage charge and only consumed at dinner.

According to the Celebrity website (FAQs):

"Please note in accordance with our liquor policy our guests may not purchase liquor ashore for consumption on board. Beer, Wine or Spirits brought onboard by our guests will be placed in storage and returned on the last day of the voyage."

This is true for booze or wine bought ashore however on initial boarding wine has always been able to come thru in carry on baggage unless they have changed policy in last couple of months.
